Gosh, we've been in business since January 2023, and I haven't taken the time to introduce myself to our wonderful followers. I’m so excited you’re all here, following Amanda's Marketing Services. We are truly blessed to have such a supportive community!
Hi, I'm Amanda Snow
I am the founder and CEO of Amanda's Marketing Services. I’m a wife to Ricky Snow and a proud mother to three young adults. Our oldest, Meredith, is an entrepreneur herself, running The Pierced Cactus Co. Our youngest daughters, Emma and Emily, are about to start college this fall. We are incredibly blessed with wonderful daughters who make parenting look easy—thank GOD!
From Education to Marketing
For years, I worked in the education field. In 2020, I decided it was time to find a new passion and figure out what I wanted in life. I became a stay-at-home dog mom (well, kind of!). With the twins starting high school, they didn’t need me as much as they did when they were younger. So, I started subbing part-time at their school.
When my oldest daughter, Meredith, came home from college, she had already established her small handmade clay jewelry company. She didn’t really need my help, but I felt she did (HA!). While helping her with her social media platforms, I discovered a passion for social media and marketing.
The Birth of a New Venture
Meredith suggested that I help others grow their platforms, just like I had done for her and my personal pages. Not entirely sure about this path, I researched social media marketing firms. The more I delved into my research, the more I noticed a lack of resources for small business owners. That’s when the idea for Amanda's Marketing Services came to life.
In January 2023, Amanda's Marketing Services was officially born! Since then, we’ve worked with several companies and made countless connections. Our journey has been incredible, and I’m excited to see where we go from here.
Q&A with Amanda Snow
1. What inspired you to start Amanda's Marketing Services? I was inspired by my oldest daughter, Meredith, and her small business journey. Helping her with her social media platforms sparked a passion for marketing, and I realized there was a significant need for small business support in this area.
2. What do you love most about your job? I love seeing the growth and success of the businesses we work with. It’s incredibly rewarding to help small business owners achieve their goals and expand their reach.
3. How do you balance work and family life? It’s all about time management and prioritizing. My family is my top priority, and I make sure to carve out quality time for them. It helps that my work is flexible and I can often work from home.
4. What are your hobbies outside of work? I love spending time with my family, especially our dogs. I also enjoy reading, attending sports events, and exploring new places with my husband, Ricky.
5. What advice would you give to someone starting their own business? Stay passionate and persistent. There will be challenges, but if you stay focused on your goals and keep pushing forward, you can achieve great things. Also, don’t be afraid to ask for help and seek out resources that can support your journey.
